Método de Avaliação

Teaching takes place in theoretical classes (2x1h weekly) and in practical classes (1x2h weekly). In theoretical classes, the various concepts and themes of the program are explained, using a set of slides published on the course page, based on the textbook CORE - The Economy 2.0: Microeconomics Open access e-text https://core-econ. org/a-economia/. The slides are used to help the students to follow the flow of the teacher's presentation. Videos are used to introduce some topics. Students must prepare for classes by reading the chapters from the book indicated beforehand and may be asked to answer questions about topics that arise in the chapters. In practical classes, exercises are solved and discussions are held on the topics covered. The students have access to a set of resources for self-study. The assessment has two components: (i) assessment throughout the semester with a weight of 30% of the final grade and (ii) final exam covering the entire program (in normal or appeal period), with a weight of 70%. A minimum grade of 7 is required. The evaluation in the appeal period is the same as in the normal period, except that the assessment throughout the semester is only considered when the grade is higher than that of the exam.
