Objectivos

To introduce basic notions of economic dynamics. To make students familiar with the facts and the explanations of economic growth. To introduce the discussion of development issues.

Technological progress; - Growth models: Harrod-Domar, Solow, endogenous growth; - Limits to growth; - Growth Policies; - Development: concepts and measures; - Problems of contemporary development in the context of globalization.
