Objectivos

To introduce students to empirical work in Economics and Management, using methods of data exploration and analysis. To enable students to use online databases and spreadsheets, namely Excel, in the applied work with economic and management topics. To promote teamwork and communication skills.

Método de Avaliação

The teaching methodology is applied, either through the presentation of cases of application of the techniques presented as the use of basic statistical software, namely spreadsheets / EXCEL. The assessment method involves continuous assessment, with group work presented and discussed in class and a test at the end of the semester.
