Objectivos
Understand the place and contribution of organizations to the establishment of environmental and social planetary boundaries; Contribute to demystifying current conceptions and narratives associated with corporate sustainability; Think critically about the concepts and tools associated with organizations' responsibility for reducing and managing their negative impacts; Reflect on the main ethical, environmental and social problems of the organizations’ responsibility; Develop behaviors for ethical decision making and social responsibility.
Programa
Social responsibility in organizations - Sustainability and organizations: management challenges - CSR Management: Implementation Instruments Planetary and social borders; sustainable development; business externalities. Ecosystem services and biodiversity; stakeholder involvement; environmental and social management in companies; sustainability reports; evaluation and sustainable investments.
Método de Avaliação
Pedagogical tools include interdisciplinary and expository teaching, with film viewing and joint discussions, promotion of critical thinking and creative reflection and, if possible, collaborative group learning. Assessment based on exercises and delivery of case study resolution.
