Objectivos

The learning outcomes of the curricular unit include: − understand the main categories of alternative investments; − understand the main features of real estate investments, including investments through private vehicles and publicly traded securities; − understand private equity investments, its valuation techniques, and mechanisms of investing and divesting; − understand the main characteristics and applications of commodity contracts; − understand the main features of hedge funds and their main strategies; − understand the functioning of digital assets and main structured products.
