Objectivos

- Enable PhD students to identify critical issues in a research project; - Developing skills for designing and implementing research projects in information systems; - Introduce students to recent theories and approaches applied to information systems research.

- Critical issues in a research project; - Research Design; - Quantitative versus qualitative approaches. Examples in Information systems research; - Theories used in Information systems. Value-focus thinking and resource-based theory; - Identifying information systems competences. The use of narrative networks; - Modern approaches to qualitative research. Action research and design science.
