We discussed about consistency of the OLS estimator, how to show that an OLS estimator is consistent, and the implications on consistency of the OLS estimator from not including a relevant variable in the model.

We discussed about regression model linear in the parameters, but non-linear in variables. In particular we discussed about two types of non-linearities: quadratic terms and interaction effects. We also discussed the RESET test and two tests to help us chose between competing models.
