1. The Advanced Mathematical Economics course can be completed through assessment during either the Normal Period (EN) or the Resit Period (ER).

2. The EN assessment consists of two written tests:
a) Test 1 (T1), held at mid-semester, covering material from weeks 1 to 7;
b) Test 2 (T2), held on the scheduled date of the Normal Period exam, covering material from weeks 8 to 13.

Each test will be graded on a scale from 0 to 10 points and will have a minimum duration of 60 minutes.

3. Students will fail the EN assessment if they meet any of the following conditions:
a) They withdraw from or fail to attend T1 or T2;
b) They score below 4 points in either T1 or T2;
c) Their combined score on T1 and T2 is below 9.5.

4. Students who do not meet any of the failing conditions listed above will pass the EN assessment. Their final grade for the course unit will be the rounded sum (to the nearest integer number, following the standard rounding rules) of the scores from T1 and T2.

5. The ER assessment consists of a written exam, lasting no less than 120 minutes, conducted on the designated ER exam date. The exam covers all course material and is graded on a scale from 0 to 20 points. Students scoring 9.5 or above will pass, with the final grade rounded to the nearest integer number according to the standard conventions.

6. In the case of a grade improvement attempt or the Special Examination Period (EE), the ER assessment rules apply.

7. If the number of students registered for the EE is 10 or fewer, assessment will be conducted through an individual oral exam.

8. If a student’s final grade in any assessment period exceeds 17 points, a supplementary exam (written or oral) may be required. Failure to attend this exam will result in a maximum final grade of 17 points.

9. Any matters not addressed by these rules are subject to the general regulations of ISEG-ULisboa, in particular the General Regulation for the Assessment of Knowledge (RGAC) for Undergraduate Degrees.

10. In all assessments, calculators are not allowed. A A4 handwritten sheet with formulas is permitted.
