The CU envisages providing the students with knowledge of the key principles of sustainable development and their integration into investment decisions. After accomplishing the course unit, the students should be able to analyze innovative digital investment platforms and instruments like crypto exchanges, cryptocurrencies, stablecoins, and tokenized assets (L01) as well as to understand clean investment instruments and strategies such as green bonds, impact investing, and sustainable business models (L02). The students also should be able to assess the role of private and public sector investments (L03) as well as the importance of policies, regulations, and global Initiatives (L04) in achieving the SDGs.ln addition, the students should assimilate the concepts and techniques of double materiality analysis, environmental taxonomy of the European Union, and sustainable investment strategies (LOS). Finally, yet importantly, the students should be sufficiently well prepared to critically engage with global challenges and design innovative, scalable, and sustainable solutions (LOG).
