The course provides students with knowledge of innovative investments and their integration into sustainable development. After accomplishing the course unit, the students should be able to navigate through the conceptual framework for the economics of FinTech-based innovative investments (LO1) and sustainable development (LO2). Students should be able to analyze innovative digital investment platforms, like crypto exchanges, and instruments, like cryptocurrencies, stablecoins, and tokenized assets (LO3), as well as to understand such rapidly expanding forms of financing as green bonds, clean investing, and impact investments (LO4). Additionally, students are expected to acquire a basic knowledge of innovations in payment technologies, digital banking, lending and crowdfunding, digital wealth management, and real estate FinTech solutions (LO5). Moreover, students should be sufficiently well prepared to link innovative investments to achieving Sustainable Development Goals (LO6).
