MATHEMATICS I - ASSESSMENT

1. The assessment of the unit Mathematics I is framed by the "General Regulations for Assessment of Undergraduate Degrees" of ISEG.

2. For an individual written examination (at any assessment period), the student may be authorised to bring specific items. Calculators are not allowed.

3. The written exams may include questions which are eliminatory.

4. The written exams may include questions of multiple choice answer and/or open-ended questions.

5. The individual written examination is not complemented by an oral examination, for purposes of passing the unit.

6. During the special assessment period and other periods covered by special law, written examinations may be replaced by oral examinations if the number of registered students is 10 or less.

7. During any assessment period, including the special period and for grade improvements, if the grade of an individual written examination is greater than 17, the student may be required to take a complementary oral examination. Independently of the result of the oral examination, the final grade 17 is guaranteed.

ITEMS PERMITTED TO BRING TO AN INDIVIDUAL WRITTEN EXAMINATION: Up to two two-sided sheets of paper with the student's notes.
