Student Evaluation Method

Students can complete this course by using one of the two following methods: «Continuous evaluation» or «Final exam».   In both cases, students will receive a final grade, consisting of an integer ranging from 0 to 20. In order to be approved, students must obtain, at least, a score of 10.

Continuous evaluation

This method consists of two written assessments, the first one taken in the mid-term and the second one by the end of the semester. Each one has a relative weight of 50% in the final grade, corresponding to one half of the course syllabus.

Final exam

Alternatively, students may choose to take one single final exam at the end of the semester. This exam will take place at the same moment of the second component of the continuous evaluation. Hence, students which completed the first one may still choose, after reading the subjects, the method by which they want to be assessed.

No electronic devices or any personal notes are allowed during the written assessments.
