Métodos de Ensino e Avaliações

There are two types of classes: theory classes (2x1h per week) and tutorials (1x2h per week). In the theory classes, various concepts and topics from the syllabus are presented, using a set of slides published on the course’s webpage, based on the CORE - The Economy 2.0: Microeconomics. The slides are used to accompany the lecturer’s exposition. In the tutorials, exercises are solved and discussions are promoted about the topics covered. Students have access to a range of resources for independent study. The assessment has two components: (i) assessment throughout the semester with a weight of 30% of the final grade and (ii) final exam covering the entire program (in normal or appeal period), with a weight of 70%. A minimum grade of 7 is required. The evaluation in the appeal period is the same as in the normal period, except that the assessment throughout the semester is only considered when the grade is higher than that of the exam.
