De facto pre-requisites
Students enrolled in Macroeconomics are expected to possess:
- Intermediate-level knowledge in Macroeconomics, Microeconomics, Mathematics, and Statistics and Econometrics, that is taught in a good undergraduate school in Economics. If you are not sure about your previous background, we advise you to read A Summer Study Guide for New Students of the M.Sc. in Economics and M.Sc. in Monetary and Financial Economics, available in the restricted area.
- Advanced-level knowledge in the fundamental areas of M.Sc. programmes in Economics and in Monetary and Financial Economics taught at ISEG , i.e. those corresponding to the courses Econometrics, Mathematical Economics , History of Economic Thought, Macroecomics, and Microeconomics.
- Advanced-level knowledge in the fundamental areas of the Ph.D. Programme in Economics at ISEG, i.e. those corresponding to the courses Advanced Econometrics, Advanced Mathematical Economics, Advanced Macroeconomics, and Advanced Microeconomics.
