Objectivos
By the end of this course, the students should be able to manipulate and visualize data using the R language for statistical computing and graphics. The students should also learn how to build and understand simple regression models.
Programa
Introduction to the R language for statistical computing and graphics. Fundamentals of data visualization. The linear regression model. The logistic regression model.
Método de Avaliação
The teaching methodology is of theoretical and practical nature. In the class, the theoretical concepts of the material are introduced. Concomitantly, illustrative problems are presented and solved using the R language for statistical computing.
