We have continued the classification methodologies and its underlying ideas by introducing Decision Trees, and Artificial Neural Networks. A demonstration in KNIME Analytics (credit rating example) is given. Then, the students have learnt the differences between classification and cluster analysis. Two common algorithms have been presented: hierarchical agglomerative clustering and k-means. Finally, association rule mining has been addressed and the evaluation criteria "support", "confidence" and "lift" have been introduced. The Apriori algorithm has been shown by example.
