Métodos de Ensino e Avaliações
The teaching methodology is based on: (i) lectures of a mostly conceptual and theoretical character, building on the identification of specific problems; (ii) autonomous reading of texts by the students throughout the semester; and (iii) practical exercises and discussions around specific issues, with a strong anchoring in empirical reality, in the tutorials. The assessment in the Normal Season consists of three elements: • active participation in the tutorials (25%) • an individual multiple-choice midterm test (25%) • individual final exam (subject to a minimum grade of 7/20) (50%) The assessment in the Retake Season consists of the same assessment elements with the same weightings, albeit with the normal season exam replaced by the resit exam; or, in case this benefits the student, solely of the grade of the individual resit final exam (with a weighting of 100%).
