We continued the discussion about how to test the different between two populations means, when the samples are dependent and independent, and the variance is known and unknown. We illustrated the tests on application exercises. We then discussed about testing the difference between two population proportions and illustrated this on an application exercise.

We discussed about the confidence interval for the population proportion and variance. We also discussed about the finite sample population correction necessity, as well as how to determine the ideal sample size. We then focused on constructing confidence intervals for the difference in means when the variance is known. All these were illustrated in application exercises.

We discussed the sampling distribution of the sampling proportion and the sample mean, as well as how to build confidence intervals for the sample mean when the population variance is known or unknown. We also illustrated how to apply the new concepts for different applications exercises.
