We discussed how to do prediction using the estimates from a linear regression model. We also discussed about the correlation coefficient and the difference between it and the slope in linear regression model. We mentioned how to build tests for the population correlation coefficient. We looked at an example of the CAPM model. We discussed how to test for the equality of several (more than two) population means (ANOVA).

We discussed hypothesis testing and confidence intervals for the intercept and the slope parameters of the simple linear regression model. We illustrated them in a Stata output (regressing house prices on square feet).
